Respati Beach Hotel

It’s close to the beach and the shopping centre, but the swimming pool is too small.

“Excellent location.”

Being right on the beach was a major plus, and it’s only two blocks from Icon Mall. The buffet breakfast had some food choices that changed daily, and the room was cleaned each day even though the key card was left on the door. The gardens were immaculate. The shower needed a good scrub, probably just age and general wear. Curtains would be better than blinds – I liked opening the room to let in daylight, but the blinds looked like “how’s your mother.” Bring mosquito repellent and watch for ants on the beach.

The hotel’s location is spot on, right on the beach, and the room was spacious with a cozy little terrace. I liked that the hotel itself was on the beach, so I could sunbathe there too. The breakfast, however, was awful – the menu felt almost empty, as if they were trying to cut costs. The pool area was small, but the beach access more than made up for it.

The spot next to Icon Mall was perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and activities were right on the doorstep. The gardens were well maintained and lovely. Value for money was excellent, and breakfast was great. The hotel feels a bit dated and some plumbing made noise at night if you’re on that side, but otherwise no complaints. I’d definitely return.

The exterior had a nice vacation‑cottage vibe. The rooms weren’t hygienic, the hotel wasn’t generous, and there weren’t enough power outlets in the rooms.
