“Ideale locatie maar nog veel verbeterpunten”

The location was perfect for our large group, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. If they improved hygiene, this would be a solid recommendation for a good price. The hygiene was really poor—mold on the windowsills and in the showers, a broken shower head, a torn shower curtain, and loose taps.

Everything was great—everything was transparent, literally. We were checked into a room with a separate bathroom that had a clear door from the bedroom, which looked like a highlight. The second part of the bathroom was also powerful: it was fully integrated with the living space. In the shower, someone had apparently fought with a hose and won; the hose was completely detached from its end, which proudly entered autonomous life and lay nicely nearby. It all looked cool, but I wanted more excitement. We were moved to another room with even more space, and the shower was fine. The shower water was as cool as I wanted, which is rare. Mold around the perimeter could feed a small production of elite cheeses—just a treasure trove of prized mold. Not for lovers, this place is strictly for professionals. The windows were nailed with plywood for guests’ convenience and sound insulation, and funny modern pictures were glued on the plywood. Staying here was very healthy! And of course healthy, because the Wi‑Fi connection gave no result and the mentality relaxed from the bustle. In short, everything was super. We’ll come again if invited.

“Unusable”

The room is a great size, the lobby is great, the staff is great, the gym is great and it is clean. The beds do not have a duvet and cover but only a sheet and a blanket, which is hard to keep in place during the night while sleeping. The windows do not have shutters, so it is impossible to get complete darkness in the room. Also, light from the hallway comes in under the door. The biggest problem is the bathroom because hot water takes a very long time to arrive, and when it does, it is still only lukewarm and barely acceptable. The shower is full of limescale and sprays water everywhere, so the whole bathroom gets wet. It is so bad and broken that water is leaking from the ceiling. The question is how technically safe this is to use, because while showering you expect the ceiling to collapse on you. The shower cabin does not have glass but a curtain, which is already not something you expect nowadays, but on top of that the curtain does not even work because it does not fit properly, so all the water that hits it runs over the shower tray onto the floor. This room cannot be said to have a usable bathroom. This is really a shame for such a space, because everything else is really good and with a small investment in the bathroom this accommodation could be excellent, but since the bathroom is unusable, this accommodation cannot be recommended to anyone because they will not get the service at all

The price was good and the location made it easy to reach a lot of spots; I liked walking around at midnight and the rooms were spacious. The bathroom was the main problem: the shower was cramped and leaked everywhere, leaving the floor wet even when I showered carefully, and there seemed to be mold on the shower walls, which felt unhygienic. The sink was oddly placed next to the beds instead of in the bathroom, which made daily chores awkward. Other than those issues, the hotel was acceptable for the price.
