The spot is great, and the owner was super friendly when I checked in, along with the rest of the staff. I did get no replies to my emails, texts, or voicemails before I arrived. There were no trash cans in the room, and the underside of the comforter was really dirty. The lamp in the room didn’t work.

Whyte Ave is a cool street with great restaurants nearby, and the location is excellent. I appreciated having several pillow options, the room was clean, and the staff were nice. I expected the noise, so I brought good earplugs; the hotel sits above a bar and the walls are paper‑thin, so I could hear everything from the room below. In the morning the bathroom had no water.

The location is awesome and the staff were friendly. The room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed and the bed was very uncomfortable.
