Lovely quiet location; the lady at reception opened the swimming pool for us and provided towels when we thought it was locked, and breakfast was lovely. If you didn’t want to stay in Cognac, this place was lovely. Nothing to add.

The pool was quiet and the decor beautiful; the house and garden were spotless. Nothing to complain about.

The location near Jarnac and the shops was good. The breakfast disappointed, the bedding was hard, and the staff reception was mediocre. Moreover, arrival wasn’t before 17 H but we had to vacate the rooms before 10 H30 because it was full on Sunday night, which was annoying. After returning the keys before 10 H30 for cleaning, we lost access to the pool—something I’d never seen, especially during a heatwave. Also, the pool isn’t accessible for people with canes or wheelchairs due to the stairs. We were very disappointed given the room rates.
