I stayed at a spot right on the sea with a private beach and free loungers, and the rooftop offered an indoor pool, gym, sauna, stunning views and sunsets. The room was clean, spacious, and had a balcony. The breakfasts, however, felt monotonous.

The staff were kind and friendly, the room was spacious, well‑furnished, and the bathroom was beautiful and large. The dining room offered a magnificent view, and the promenade along the sea was lovely. The indoor pool was not heated, and the parking spaces were cramped.

The breakfast was excellent, the location superb, and a cool promenade with plenty of bars was just next door. The rooms were large, and the view of Split was beautiful.

The location was feet‑deep in water, the restaurant terrace sat on the seafront, and breakfast was taken at the neighboring San Antonio hotel. A bus right beside the hotel took us downtown. The room was pleasant with a comfortable bed, but the décor was a bit dated, especially the loop‑tweed carpet on the floor. There was a lot of dust on the large glass lamp shades. Beware that the Gala hotel has no reception; you must go to San Antonio. No signage to guide you, so we had to call for help.
