The spot in Kastáki was good, just a few minutes from the Meteora and Kalambaka, and the room was clean. When we arrived at noon, just after check‑in opened, nobody was there to welcome us or settle the payment. A note with my name and room number was on the door, and the key was also on the door. We found that unacceptable; the owner could have called or messaged us via the booking platform. We had to stand just outside the building. In the afternoon, when we tried to leave, the owner shouted from afar that the place we were standing in was wrong and that we hadn’t paid, while no one was there to point us to the parking or to collect the payment. The listing mentioned a fridge, but it’s shared and outside the room. The rooms are on the ground floor and it’s hard to open the windows because you can see the neighboring houses.
