We spent the end of August 2026 at the hotel “Ira” in Ureki, then moved to another place booked on Booking, but it was uncomfortable, so we asked to return to Ira, and a free room was available. It’s been over a week since we came home. It was a wonderful holiday at a wonderful hotel that we remember fondly. Irina and Vladimir welcomed us warmly and created such a pleasant atmosphere that you really want to come back. They took care of everything and made it cozy and beautiful: many flowers around the property, everything tidy, nice outdoor tables with awnings. There is a summer kitchen outside and another inside the house, everything is always clean, plenty of dishes, I didn’t feel like cooking. In the morning Vladimir set up a samovar with boiling water and brewed tea (thanks for that), there are hanging chairs and swings outside and inside the house, padded, and board games on the first floor. We played dominoes, backgammon, and bingo. In the rooms (we stayed on the first floor and later on the third) everything needed was present: air‑conditioning, beds, wardrobe, desk, stool/ chair, fridge, a glass‑door shower cabin (not common in Georgia), a hair dryer, towels for each guest, a basin if you need to wash, a floor drain to dry faster. The second and third floors have balconies. Each room has its own dryer. There is a TV, kids found cartoons on Georgian channels, which they didn’t need but were there on rainy days. Wi‑Fi in the room was weak, so we went to the lobby or corridor to send photos. We only needed internet to stay in touch with family, and that was enough. The hotel is in a very good location, rain doesn’t flood the grounds, there’s no road nearby, so no traffic noise. A grocery store, a fruit stall, a place to buy grilled chicken, many cafés, and always somewhere to eat are very close. Walking to the sea with kids takes 12‑15 minutes at a relaxed pace, which was fine and even a plus.
