The hotel was modern and well‑located, and the room was pleasant. The problem with Algeria: the hotel demanded a family book to book a room for a couple, which we didn’t have. They offered us a second room, which we declined. They then told us to go to the police station for permission. The police station directed us to another station far away to speak with the foreigners’ office, which we didn’t want to do, so we went back to the hotel and fortunately the owner who arrived agreed to give us the room.

Nu va sfatuies sa mergeti, am fost dati afara din hotel la ora 22:00, in Algeria te poti caza ca si strain doar cu pasaportul, proprietarul ne-a spus ca traim in pacat si ca nu putem imparti aceasi camera eu cu sotul ca nu am prezentat certificat de casatorie si fiica mea nu putea dormi cu verisorul iei ca in Algeria verisorii se casatoresc intre iei. Am comfirmat cu receptionara daca este ok totusi ca suntem straini si dupa cateva ore a venit managerul sa ne dea afara. Mangerul
