“Our stay at this apartment”
The neighborhood is peaceful and pleasant, with Family Mart and 7/11 nearby. Nakano‑Sakaue station is 15 min away, and Nakano‑Shimbashi station is about 7 min away, both offering easy access to the city center. Plenty of eateries line the streets, and a small but charming park is just a 5‑minute walk. The apartment itself is compact but fully equipped; we received complimentary toothpaste and toothbrushes, enough plastic bags, paper towels, and toilet paper for our two‑week stay, and a washer‑dryer combo with detergent supplied. The walls are thin, so we had to keep noise down—otherwise we got a police complaint 😅. Communication with the hosts was smooth; they answered questions quickly, even when we arrived late at night without entry instructions. One friend’s international texting service let him contact the owner, who responded promptly and apologized for the missing instructions, but it didn’t delay check‑in. If instructions are missing, contact the owner ASAP. I didn’t take photos of the apartment, only screenshots from a video, so the quality is low 😅. The only downside was a strong odor from the sink, placed outside the toilet in front of the beds; it was noticeable but faded over time and didn’t disturb our sleep. Overall, a very nice stay!
