The scenery was beautiful and there were few tourists. The accommodation had no air‑conditioning, which isn’t a problem in itself, but there were a lot of spider webs. Cleaning before we arrived wasn’t thorough, and because there were no screens or filters on the windows, we had mosquitoes, huge spiders, and small scorpions all week. It was impossible to sleep peacefully because we had to keep the windows closed.

Bruno is a very kind and welcoming host. The breakfast was excellent and the experience was immersive in Provence. The only suggestion would be to install window screens so you can enjoy the fresh air and the wonderful view without insects entering the room.

The setting is gorgeous. Bruno is very welcoming and friendly. I loved the little touches for the kids in the garden and the breathtaking view. We had a cottage and couldn’t enjoy the breakfasts that looked excellent. The recommended restaurants were top. We’ll return with my husband so he can discover this magnificent bastide. The mattress was too hard for my taste.
