“Unfortunately I can not recommend this hotel”
The location is excellent, central, easy access to the duomo and restaurants, seafront, beaches. It appeared to be a small family run hotel. The information for this hotel offered a roof terrace which influenced our choice and to relax. The roof terrace became a busy cocktail bar at 18:00 until 01:30, 7 nights a week with loud music from raised speakers and open to the general public. Our superior room was below the bar area of the terrace and the noise from scraping, frequently moving chairs and tables from the many party goers was constant through the ceiling, after closure ar 1:30 am, the cleaners arrived with yet more noise. I mentioned this to reception but they didn’t react. I do also have concerns that there was no monitoring of the number of people going to terrace, they went in through our entrance in hotel or other stairs, or accessed from street. There was a fire extinguisher on a window ledge on a halfway landing up to the roof
