We liked the fairly large bed, the bedding, and the clean bathroom towels. The window doesn’t face the street with cars. There’s a kettle and a small fridge to share with other rooms. The curtains block light. It’s close to a metro station and good restaurants. The exterior window is very thin and metallic, so the heating drains quickly and we hear a lot from the neighbors. The 70€ tourist tax is asked to be paid in cash if possible. There could be two cups with two spoons in each room. The toilets are very noisy even at night—bring earplugs. The VMC works poorly. The shower’s hot water takes a long time to heat, and there’s no towel warmer.

The spot is great, close to public transport and in a quiet area, but getting hot water means leaving the taps running for a while and the temperature is barely acceptable. The room is tight and you can’t fully open the wardrobe doors.

It’s peaceful and quiet, about 7–10 minutes to the Roma where the Metro is, and roughly 200 meters to the bus stop, but some walls need a moisture refresh in certain spots.

Casa Felice delivers excellent value for money, ideal for those who dislike dorms or shared bathrooms yet find hotel rates steep. You can chat with the host on WhatsApp, and she responds super quickly and is very accommodating. Many reviews say the location is hard to find; just pin the address and when you’re in front of the black iron gate shown in the photos, call the host and she’ll meet you. The room lacked shampoo, but a Carrefour Express 3 minutes away sells it for about 1.50 EUR. All in all, it was a very comfortable and practical stay, highly recommended for solo travelers or budget‑conscious tourists.
