I loved the spot—beautiful rooms, a nice little pool, and a lush green oasis that felt completely peaceful. The pizza was tasty, but there was no activity planned and it was surprisingly quiet, maybe because there weren’t enough guests. Jumping in the pool wasn’t allowed. When we asked about our booked room, the vibe changed and I felt like we were being stared at, which was uncomfortable. It was a shame because we wanted to stay longer.

“A good and reasonable options for a stay in Donovaly with a family feel”

The family greeted us warmly and the room was spacious with a forest view. Breakfast was optional, yet I’d suggest trying it. The owners played live music during our stay, which was great. Ski and board hire were reasonably priced, and drinks, snacks, and even evening meals were usually available. The place is a bit out of town, so you’ll need to drive to find restaurants and bars. The ski/board hire had a decent price but a limited selection, and the beds in room 4 felt a bit firm.

They were very friendly, and the car issue was handled with help from the staff. The location is very beautiful, the entire house is made of wood, and the restaurant is good.
