“Amazing facilities, location and staff - must stay!”

The pictures didn’t capture the room and facilities well. We stayed in the love snug for our anniversary, and the sauna and jet bath were great; the staff added little touches like an arrival drink, heart chocolates, petals on the bed, and homemade shortbread biscuits. The location was fantastic, even while 21 weeks pregnant we were within walking distance of Windermere’s main area. On‑site parking was also appreciated. Overall the staff made the stay excellent, welcoming and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. We’re not usually picky about hosts or self‑check‑in, but the friendly team really enhanced the experience. When checking out we were shown two other apartments and we’ll definitely book those rooms next time. The only downside was the lack of a warning about the low ceilings and beams in the love snug; my partner, 6 ft 3, hit his head in the morning coming out of the bathroom. We also found the bed a bit small, though we’re used to a super king and it’s a matter of personal preference.

For anyone wanting a romantic stay in the Lake District, this is the spot! The staff were very helpful and welcoming upon arrival. The room (Sugar Suite) was everything you could ask for and more; the photos don’t do it justice. If you can stay in the room in the mornings, the breakfast was also wonderful. Nothing negative.

“Attention to detail makes the stay extra special!”

I loved how roomy the place was, especially the balcony seating area and the outdoor hot tub, plus the indoor spa bathroom. The location was spot on and parking on site was free.

The rooms are amazing and the whole package is great. The location is excellent, the staff are very attentive, the rooms are fantastic, and the value for money is great.

The staff were lovely and having breakfast delivered to the room was a nice touch. The only downside was that the rooms above were noisy on the first night.
