“Erwartung leider nicht mehr erfüllt”

The bed was very comfortable. And the hotel, of course, thrives on its location. After we had been here about 10 years ago, we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the hotel has aged and little has been done since then. Rooms were not thoughtfully prepared, for example water, fruit bowl, or even a welcome sign. The cheapest toilet paper, the carpet under the sink was already broken. Therefore the price/value ratio is no longer acceptable. On the weekend the overnight stay also cost an extra 50 euros. Breakfast at 25 euros per person is not enough to eat. Somewhat disappointing. The hotel bar was also closed by midnight on the weekend.

In my opinion, this is the best location in Vienna! Thanks to the free parking (big thanks!), we walked everywhere. The mattresses were the most comfortable you could imagine, and the Smart room was spacious. It was a perfect stopover, and we spent one day exploring. The solutions I found at Hotel Daniel are interesting, and the interior design is intriguing. One of the few things that no one else mentioned in other reviews is the scent of cosmetics: this hotel has a unique fragrance line ;). After a full day of sightseeing, you’ll appreciate the scent and the interesting shower design, with a spacious cabin.
