The tipis were lovely, quiet, clean, and close to Ross on Wye, which was nice to visit. However, there weren’t many activities; only six tipis in a small, secluded area. As a family we had to drive far for things to do, and the river was unusable due to algae and low water. It’s fine as a base, but we expected on‑site activities.

Everything we needed for camping was there – cutlery, plates, mugs, BBQ tools, and more. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, with soap and toilet paper supplied. A great spot for an uncomplicated camping trip without extra gear.

The site was very well organized, tidy, and clean, with large, spotless tents. Though private, it’s still near amenities and activities, and the lady running the place was lovely and checked on us. We loved it and plan to return in a few months. I can’t think of any negatives.

The tent and facilities were good. The cinema was broken and our electricity kept cutting out.
