The food. The room I requested for my birthday wasn’t decorated, and the banner was missing; the service felt very elitist toward national tourists.

I’ve always liked the property, but this was my first bad experience. The restaurants were closed.

The hotel is huge and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The carts don’t come out very often at night, but you can still find one or two; overall it’s a very good hotel with excellent staff.

The complex is excellent in every way and delivers on everything it promises. I have no complaints; I just think more Mexicans should get to know it.

We found the activities entertaining, the range of restaurants decent, and the price offered a solid value for money. Going to Playa Maroma was a big plus since the hotel beach was marred by algae and breakwaters. We stayed several days because it was better than the pool, and the catamaran and snorkeling were fun when crowds were light. The night lighting was a bit sparse in some areas, and we missed more signage indicating where the restaurants and other spots were. The app and brochures didn’t always give accurate timing information. The happy band shouldn’t stay more than one night; the other bands were much better. The resort’s tours and shops were super pricey, so bring your own sunscreen and supplies to avoid having to buy anything, as there’s nothing nearby the hotel.
