“Service rendered 100% poor”
The location and surroundings were fine. My stay at Thuba Kobo Segole Guest House, Room 1, was very disappointing. I paid R750 per night for three nights (R2250 total). On the first night the air‑conditioner didn’t work and there was no Wi‑Fi. By night three there was no hot water, which was a problem since I was on my period. Room service was not offered during the two‑day stay. When I reported these problems, I was told to wait until morning with no immediate fix or alternative room. For R750 per night, basic amenities like air‑con and hot water should function. I asked for a printed invoice at reception upon checkout, but no refund was offered for the inconvenience.
