We spent a few days with our kids, ages 8 and 12, and decided to pause our tour for a stay at this all‑inclusive resort. It wasn’t a full resort experience, but it gave us a break and let the children choose what they wanted to eat and drink. We opted for à la carte dinner, where both the Mexican and Grill restaurants were good. The room was very spacious, the beds were large and comfortable, and the shower was fine. The kids loved the jacuzzi. The staff were friendly, and the evening entertainment for the kids—movies and music—was spot on. Extra kudos to the valet parking team; my car broke right at the entrance and they handled it perfectly. A few minor points: there was no trash bin in our apartment and no drying rack on the balcony for wet swimwear. We understand the rule that children under twelve must be supervised on the slides, so we parents had to lie on the beds near the slides. That’s not relaxing, especially when the pool where the slides end is still open for small kids to swim and adults to drink. The lifeguard downstairs doesn’t notice that there’s no space where the slides exit the pool. That should be marked with tape or something to prevent accidents.

The rooms and the view were lovely, but they shut down the buffet and two specialty restaurants for a night, leaving no available options for us and disappointing my kids; we also ordered room service and found nothing suitable for one of my children.

The receptionist refused to give me a tax invoice for my stay, and the food was terribly bad.

We loved the room—it was super spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was roomy. The minibar stocked refreshing drinks and beers. The air conditioning was excellent. We arrived and were not given any information about where to eat, events, or shows at night. The snack bar was crowded; it was the only place, and honestly the burgers and chilli con carne were not good. The pizzas were the best. Employees were working hard, sweating under the sun. When it was time to dine, we arrived late and there were no reservations for the specialty restaurants, but luckily they accepted us at the steakhouse, although the meat was of very poor quality.
