“Prachtige plek, zeer gastvrij ontvangen!”
The location was beautiful! The 2‑person bed in the master bedroom has a raised edge at the foot, so a 2‑meter tall person has a bit less legroom.

The owners were super nice, even stopping by for breakfast to chat, and they were lovely. The place is 100% dog friendly and the breakfast was amazing. There were lots of rescue animals around, which was fun for the kids. The room was big and had a kitchen area. I have to give a big shout out to the lady who owns and runs the place. It was a bit too cold for my taste, but that’s expected for an old castle. Overall, the decoration and style don’t feel very castle‑like.

The apartment had two separate, romantically furnished bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a kitchen, and was tip‑top clean. The rural location was quiet. The reception was very friendly. There was a breakfast room and a music room. The animals were allowed to live freely there until the end of their lives. The breakfast (not included) was a bit modest.

The setting was nice, the bedding was comfortable, and the décor was tidy. The accommodation was for 4 people but the kitchen was very poorly equipped: the sponge was more used than new, there was only 1 bowl for 4, not enough cutlery for 4, and there were no glasses except champagne flutes. The spa option was extra but there was no way to use it because it was privatized. Communication between the services advertised on Booking and the reality on site was bad: no coffee as advertised, but there were pastries, tea, coffee, half a bottle of wine or champagne, and no water bottle. The owner told us that at that price (150€ for a night) you would expect something else. The outside environment was not maintained, the children's play area was outdated. We had booked this spot for the spa but it was a huge disappointment on site and the equipment was catastrophic. We were a couple with two children. Note that the spa is included only for one room, so be careful!
