“Un B&B molto confortevole nel centro storico di Altamura con colazione ottima”
The B&B is in an excellent spot, very close to Altamura’s historic center. The room is spacious, well furnished, and has a large shower bathroom that is also roomy and fully equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The bed linen is high quality, and extra blankets and pillows are available. In the room there is a capsule coffee machine (very good coffee), a milk frother, a fridge (with bottled water, fruit juices, milk, and butter rolls), and a generous breakfast prepared directly by the staff, including pastries, muffins of various flavors, cookies, carrot cake, and also tarallini, which you can eat in the room on the round table that is provided. The room also has a large wardrobe (brand new) with sliding doors that can accommodate clothing for a medium‑to‑long stay. The property does not have dedicated parking, but public parking areas are available in the area, both free (few spots) and paid during daytime hours 09:00 – 13:00 / 15:00 – 21:00. For us that was not a problem because we arrived after 18:00 and left the next morning before 9:00, so we could park (often right in front of the B&B) with a few coins for the whole night; the rate is 80 cents per hour. The only thing to keep in mind is that the B&B is on the first floor of a historic building and there is no elevator.
Honestly, I don’t see what else the staff could do to improve. Maybe add a bit of fruit to the breakfast.
