The friendliness, the small scale, and the tasty, extensive breakfast were all great, nothing to complain about.

The hotel sits perfectly beside the beautiful canal, and we explored the area by bike (Sluis, Damme, the coast…). The location is ideal for cycling! The staff were very kind and hardworking; the mother and son were always ready to help. We slept well after a top‑class breakfast and enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the restaurant. The only downside was the lack of a bike storage; the staff did their best to park our bikes on their private property after dinner, which was great. A suggestion: add a secure bike shed and attach the key to the room key.
