I booked a stay at Termini Sunlight House and the check‑in was listed as 13:00‑24:00. Around 19:00, while I was in a work meeting, the hotel called me and, in a very rude tone, told me: “Come in ten minutes or I’ll cancel your booking.” I tried to explain that it was impossible for me to arrive in ten minutes and that I had booked with the expectation of checking in before midnight, but I wasn’t even allowed to finish my explanation; the phone was cut off and the reservation was cancelled unilaterally. I ended up that evening in Rome without accommodation. I was lucky that the booking was made through a platform whose support eventually helped me, but only after hours of calls, waiting and discomfort. What happened is severe: a place that advertises check‑in until midnight cannot contact a guest at 19:00, demand ten minutes, and leave them without lodging because they can’t appear immediately. Absolutely unreliable. I would not recommend it to anyone. I have kept the booking documents, the terms, and the subsequent cancellation and reserve the right to file a formal complaint.
