The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food, wine list, and cheese selection were all top-notch.
The hotel's facilities and amenities were top-notch, and we felt right at home during our stay.
The hotel's overall ambiance was stunning, and I couldn't find a single thing to complain about.

“English Manor House Experience.”
The Oldie World Atmosphere with modern touches was great, and the spa was excellent. I would prefer a separate shower.
“Fabulous stay in Cheshire”
The accommodation was very comfortable, the room spacious, and the staff were amazing.
“A comfortable hotel.”
Rookery Hall is an impressive French chateau‑style building with lovely communal areas; we stayed in a modern addition that is part of the new conference suite immediately adjacent to the main building. Our room was very pleasant and reasonably sized, but nothing exceptional—more functional than luxurious. The staff are friendly and service is beyond criticism. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection with fresh juices. I didn’t try the spa or pool, but I understand they are very good. A covered walkway from the new wing to the old would have been good, especially since both our room cards (needed to open the outside door) failed twice in the rain. The breakfast buffet is good, but the cooked breakfasts were of variable quality. We had dinner one night; again the food was good, but be aware that a three‑course dinner for two costs 200 pounds and I’m not sure it was as good as other hotels I’ve stayed in with that sort of price tag.
“Expensive but value for your money”
The staff were all helpful and well trained, and the place itself was charmingly old.
The room was nice and the building was nice.
