The place is clean, daily housekeeping, and the location is great in the center but not noisy. The hotel staff were wonderful, arranging tours and shuttles for us, and everything was excellent. It was the best value we’ve gotten so far. We didn’t have hot water in the shower on any of the days we stayed, but we didn’t bother to inform the staff, so maybe it could have been sorted out.

The accommodation is well‑located, close to the main street but not on it. The price is pretty good. The rooms are spacious and look clean, though the furnishings resemble a student residence. However, good soundproofing is needed because, even on the sixth floor, I could hear street noise and the noise from adjacent rooms. On the last day I found a huge cockroach running along the wall of my room (though I understand that isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault). The stay was fine and the price was also reasonable, but if I return to Cat Ba, I wouldn’t stay here again.

I didn’t like it. Everything, especially the cleanliness, was awful.

The room was fine, nothing special. The fire alarm went off several times during the night, and the staff didn’t know how to turn it off. It was very annoying to be woken up at 03:00 in the middle of the night.
