“Great location, lovely staff and good breakfast; just the bed that let it down!”

The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely people. The room was spacious, had an amazing view, and a lovely walk right on the doorstep; there were plenty of spots to stop while driving to admire the scenery or take a stroll. The only downside was that the bed was very firm and didn’t let us sleep well; we were also asked to pay £10 for a travel cot, which felt cheeky since a child was included in the room rate. The bathroom had dust behind the sink that could use a good clean.

Location and view over the garden area . Comfortable lounge and very dog friendly . Unfortunately I could hear very noisy voices all night til 4.30 am .:-(

“Outstanding and peaceful”

The hotel is fabulous—spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. The food is excellent, but I would have liked the option to order a daily newspaper.

The location on Dartmoor is beautiful, the staff are all very friendly, the room is lovely with nice toiletries, and the food was exceptional.

It’s pretty and cozy, but very noisy; the room next door is so close that the sounds are loud and the isolation is poor.
