Gorges Grant Hotel

“מקום יפה”

The room was pretty, clean, and roomy. The paid breakfast was good. The hotel had a heated pool, but we couldn't use it because we arrived late and left early. Parking was right in front of the room. Later, it started raining in the second building, making it uncomfortable to walk back and forth between the dining area, bar, and gym. The front‑desk woman spoke to my husband and ignored me, even though the reservation was under my name and I had paid for the room. It felt very odd.

The rooms were exceptionally large, spacious, and very clean. A nice touch was the champagne or lemonade that was offered when we arrived. We had water flooding in the shower. The hotel required a $100 credit‑card deposit, which was unlike any other place we stayed at during our three‑week trip. There was no elevator and only spiral stairs—we had heavy luggage and no one offered help. The restaurant staff were unfriendly, and the location is a 10–15 minute walk from the center.

“Perfect once I found my building.”

Everything. I had a difficult time finding which building I was in. I think there needed to be more signage
