The house, the bed, the view, and the cat that returned every day are dearly missed now, and the lizards around the property were also very welcome. Unfortunately the pool was broken, so we always had to drive to find one, though that was well compensated! Communication was only in Spanish, making it hard to understand each other.

“Decepción total”

The location in Puntagorda, the porch, and the ocean and sunset views were nice, but the pool was green and full of algae when we arrived. The owner only offered excuses and left us hanging, which we found very unfortunate. The rural association suggested sending a technician to treat the water so we could swim at least the last few days, but we told them to leave the pool as it was because we knew it couldn’t be purified in a week. They also didn’t respect our privacy, with the owner and the pool maintenance technician appearing in the house several times without notice. The only compensation was a monetary one from the association, which didn’t erase our frustration: we rented the house specifically to enjoy the pool during our vacation, so the disappointment was huge, and the owner’s treatment sealed the incident. Additionally, the house needs some upgrades: the kitchen needs renovation, the extractor hood is broken, the fridge is old and doesn’t cool well, there’s no workspace, and the washing machine is old and ruined two garments. Photos of the pool’s condition on the first and last days of our stay are attached.

“Charmantes Haus mit zentraler Lage und trotzdem sehr ruhig”

The house’s location is perfect. We love Puntagorda and from the house it’s about a 10‑minute walk into the village. The house still feels very quiet and practically secluded. The peace, the view, the pool, and simply the charm of the house are unique. We’re already on our second visit with our children and would wholeheartedly recommend it!

The location is beautiful, very quiet, at the end of a sandy lane. We rented this accommodation in January and it was quite cold this year, 10 °C. There was only one electric fire and that was far too little. The house was also very dark, and in winter the sun only appeared on the terrace at 12 p.m., so we couldn’t have breakfast outside.
