“Erholsamer Aufenthalt in Wellpoint in Mzcheta”
The spot is awesome! The Swetizchoweli-Kathedrale and a bunch of tiny souvenir shops are right next door. Most of the sights we hit with the car we rented at the airport were easy to get to. During the day the little, pretty Mzcheta is full of day‑tourists, but at night it’s super quiet. A handful of decent restaurants around serve local dishes. A lot of apparently stray dogs roam around, but they’re not aggressive toward people. The guesthouse has four rooms and a shared kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen comes with a gas and electric stove, a fridge and a dishwasher. The dishes are mixed up but clean. Every room has its own shower and toilet and is spotless. One room boasts a balcony with a gorgeous mountain view! The guesthouse sits on the 2nd floor and is accessed through its own entrance. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return! At first the many dogs in the town seemed scary to us. They’re everywhere in Georgia, just like the cats in Greece or Turkey, and they’re all very peaceful toward people.
