Arriving late after a long, tiring journey to the village, I chose this budget spot because of its good rating and cheap price, booking through the platform. From the start the experience felt off: the owner insisted repeatedly that we pay in cash, which made me uneasy, so I stuck with the platform payment. The booking promised breakfast for two, but the owner told me it was only for one because “if not he wouldn’t make money.” I reminded him that the reservation was for two and that the breakfast was included as shown on the site, and after a brief argument he reluctantly agreed. He said breakfast would be at 8:00, either brought to the room or we could go to a local place ten minutes away. I asked him to bring it, as he had originally said. The next morning he arrived at 8:15 and told me he wouldn’t bring it after all and that we had to go ourselves because “it was too complicated.” This surprise left us very uncomfortable. We ended up walking to a street stall where they served hot water and a bowl of noodles that I couldn’t quite identify. The food wasn’t bad, but the whole situation made us feel uneasy all day. The room’s bed was uncomfortable and the sleep was poor. The shower had almost no water pressure and was cold, worsening the experience.
This is a rare place where you can feel genuine treatment and care. Andre was a host like a friend and his family’s kindness deeply touched me. Once we forget what matters in our rushing lives, we need to meet people like this. Thank you Andre.

Nice place to stay before or after jungle trekking! The staff was super helpful and friendly. There is no luxury, just a comfortable bed, local breakfast and good vibes!
A nice spot if you’re looking for a place to crash before a trek, and the host is very friendly. The shower flow is extremely low, but you can wash with the bucket. No hot water.

Very dirty and no shower, no water – you have to use the hose from the toilet to shower or fill the bucket. Everything was wrong. Smelling sheets, full of mosquitoes. No water to shower.
