“Koszos, büdös, penészes”

We received quick answers to our questions and the staff were helpful; the accommodation is easy to find and well‑located near the center. However, the bedroom was very moldy, we couldn’t ventilate because of the sewage smell, the ducks were very close to the window and their odor was strong, the room was not cleaned properly at all—there was awful trash under the bed and the whole room had a spiderweb. In the bathroom it was written that toilet paper should be thrown in the bin, but during our stay no one came to clean or empty the bin, and no trash bags were provided.

It was cheap, but we found ants in the room, the noise outside woke us at night, there was constant honking and shouting, and the toilet had a sign saying you must not flush toilet paper. The coffee machine didn’t have cups, we were told they were probably finished, and on the garden there were geese and ducks that stank.

Clean, close to the city center, and the staff were excellent – nothing to complain about.

The air conditioning worked, but the owner smelled of sewage, there was no basic kitchen equipment—having a kettle and tea doesn’t help if there are no cups, and having a microwave doesn’t help if there are no plates. It was terribly noisy from the street, Italians were like animals on the road, and it felt more like Africa than Europe.

“Noise”

We chose this cheap accommodation for €43 for one night because our flight was cancelled. How can you offer accommodation like this, facing the street? The traffic was extremely loud throughout the entire night. From 5 a.m., there have been garbage collectors right below the windows, crushing and compacting waste. They have been doing it for 1.5 hours already. The window has no functional blinds or acoustic insulation. We felt as if we were sleeping on the street, even though we paid for accommodation. Do not offer this accommodation!
