“Great staff, comfortable stay”

The lady at reception was lovely when we arrived and very helpful. The rooms were tidy, just a little dated. The decor felt a bit dated.

I loved the room, it was the best I’ve seen, but it’s located at the far end of town and away from nightlife.

“Very rude owner/managers. Very poor after hours contact for emergencies.”

The front‑counter staff were polite and helpful, yet one of us got locked out at 10 pm without a phone, warm clothes, or medication. There’s no after‑hours contact at reception; the intercom is unmanned and never responds. Pressing the button repeatedly only gave an intermittent message to leave a note, and she eventually had to knock on our door for assistance. Only after dialing the daytime number—our last resort—did we receive a message about an after‑hours mobile. Twenty minutes and five messages later, after being locked out for 45 minutes, a staff member rang back, was rude, unapologetic, impatient, and promised to arrive soon to admit her. We were lucky we weren’t alone, because she would have been entirely on her own. An onsite after‑hours contact facility is essential; it was freezing cold and she was locked out after 10 pm.
