The hosts were super accommodating and really made us feel at home.
The steak and ale pie was excellent, we were stuffed.
Location was great ,facilities excellent.
Room was lovely and spacious. Comfy bed and clean bathroom.

“Lovely landlady but asked for travel cot which was left for us to assemble. We were at a wedding and didn’t arrive back”
Elaine, the landlady, was really friendly and welcoming, but the place could have been cleaner—someone left a hair extension on the floor after I dropped my glasses, and the electric fan was covered in dust.

The room seemed clean on arrival, but there was mould, the staff were quite rude when we left, and there was no public transport after 5.

We only had breakfast once during our stay and it was okay. The room was a nice size, the bed comfortable, and the hot water was nice, but the motorbike noise was annoying.
“I would recommend this as a more personal experience than staying in a chain hotel.”
