“Disgusting”

The outside is well painted. Do NOT let this deceive you. NOTHING. Front office reeked of cigarette smoke. The clerk was covered in scratches and pock mark sores. The first room she gave me had someone sleeping on the bed, door was open. The next room was right next door to a bunch of men with their door open, loud music, booze everywhere and a large barking dog. I did not stay, I did not feel safe. Of course it’s “no refund”.

The spot is great, but the tub had hair and the pillow case was stained.

“Get rid of the office lady and be more responsible on price”

The lady at the office was very unfriendly and her hours were unacceptable; I ended up booking a cheaper motel in Winnemucca that appreciated my business. Our company has 12 people who would have stayed there, we’ve been in the area for five months and plan to stay at least two more months, so that’s a lot of lost revenue for the motel you represent. Joe Eder. The cleaning staff were top shelf and the location was bad.

“The negatives over-take the positives, next time I won’t be staying here.”

I’ve stayed at the Town House Motel several times and it’s a well run, clean, efficient place, one block off the main street. It was fine. I know there was at least one change of ownership and with the second owner there were some subtle changes but it was still okay. My guess is there has been another change of ownership. Upon entering the room, I noticed a distinct “cover up” smell (like one of those hanging pine cone cards that dangle from a car’s mirror) and the very loud sound of an air conditioner that could not adjust, only turn off, which I did. There were stains on the carpet and a large “to go” cup left in the mini‑refrigerator with something in it.
