The location is great for reaching various routes or tourist spots. The guesthouse has large rooms, adequately equipped for a three‑star place, and a very well maintained garden. The staff, though understaffed, are kind and try to provide full comfort. In my opinion it’s the best accommodation option in the area. The only downside is that access to the guesthouse is only by car (own or rental), and there aren’t many rental options nearby. If you want to travel by train it’s complicated to reach the guesthouse. The roads are good, but authorities should do more to clear vegetation along the edges. Regarding the guesthouse, the understaffing shows especially in small maintenance issues and signs of poor upkeep: worn doors, detached outlets, foul leaks, a general appearance that feels more worn than fresh.

A rustic guesthouse in the wild heart of Ratzat, with a balcony overlooking the mountains and water streams. Good spot for the Ratzat trail if you start from Poyina. The room is spacious. The breakfast served on site was generous and excellent.

“Foarte bine pt locatie si personal!”

The location is exceptional, right at the mountain base beside the river. The reception staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean with mountain views. The breakfast was good.
