I ate at the bar and paid London prices for food and drinks that were only mediocre, and the place has been taken over by new management – the new rates are ridiculous compared to what it used to be. I won’t return. The cleanliness was awful; the bathroom door was closed and the filth inside was disgusting, far from what it used to be.

The staff were friendly, the service superb, and the food was great.

The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable; I was offered a replacement breakfast but the options were very limited. The breakfast itself didn’t meet expectations – the plates were cold, the muffin was so hard that a knife wouldn’t cut through it, and the hollandaise was too salty.
