“Worst night ever! Pick somewhere else!!!!”

Thought this would be a good location but it turns out that this is right in front of a park and connected to a night club. Nothing was good about the property because it’s loud, old, smelly and not a good place to get a good night sleep. This place was a four minute walk from the parking. We entered the hotel from the square through a shopping mall and down flights of stairs ( with luggage). Reception area smelled like dirty clothes and gym socks. After she took our payment she informs us that she can’t guarantee a quiet night rest. Went up to the room to find a bizarre set up with labels on where things are and how to use them. It was dark and dingy the colors of the paint was loud as well as the evening we tried to get sleep before heading to the airport the next morning. Not a good night at all. Ac was loud and the lights lit up the room and we heard thumping all night from the night club. The carpet was stained and gross. They mention NOTHING online about this being attached to a 20’somethings night club or the noise but they conveniently provide ear plugs in the night stand for that very reason. I would have never picked this place for a night knowing this area is right in front of a Public park and a rave for kids in the evening. Worst night ever!!!!

“Great location but can be noisy parking needs to be explained and be very careful of the hot water in the shower”

The location is great and the staff are friendly, but the parking garage is far from the hotel unless you exit through a specific door. Also, the hotel covers part of the 30‑euro daily fee, but we weren’t told about it, so we paid 60 euros instead of 20, which was annoying. The water gauge in the shower was broken, causing the water to jump from warm to scalding hot and burn my chest. The hotel moved us to another room, but there was no other gesture of goodwill.

“Lovely, quaint hotel in the perfect location.”

This tiny gem of a hotel was a delight. The spot was perfect, though the room was on the smaller side but still fine. It felt a bit stuffy at night, so the staff handed us a fan that fixed the problem. The breakfast package is a must‑try, offering a great spread at the historic Skeff pub right next to the hotel. The front desk team were very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely book again if I’m back in Galway. I did need a fan for extra airflow while sleeping, but that’s just how I am at home, so don’t judge the room too harshly.
