Nothing positive. They wouldn’t honor my rate even though I booked online, I drove a long way with a baby, and they said it was a glitch. The manager kept putting me on hold and never returned my call. I was very upset, had to spend hours finding another hotel, and it was almost midnight with a baby before I could check in somewhere else. Very disappointed.

The spot is great—close to everything, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy, but the bathroom needs a facelift; the shower head pointed at the wall and couldn’t be turned.

I love Hampton Inn, but this weekend might change that. The location is handy, near the interstate and a bunch of restaurants, and the room was spacious and spotless. Yet the staff weren’t very welcoming; they seemed like they didn’t want to be there, and they even had off‑hand conversations during breakfast that felt out of place. The night before, we stayed at a 3‑star Marriott, and that experience felt so much better. The Marriott staff were great, even checking us in at 1 am with a smile, and their suite felt newer with updated bathrooms. Breakfast at the Marriott offered many more toddler‑friendly options, and it was cheaper than Hampton Inn. In the future I’ll definitely compare prices before booking Hampton Inn.
