“Adequate but disappointing for what we paid.”

Finding the hotel was easy, though it sits on a fairly busy intersection and getting to downtown was a bit tricky but not awful; the staff, especially the woman who handled my check‑in, was incredibly friendly and confident. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi tub we booked was in bad shape—no safety handle, a cracked bottom that might have been repaired, peeling and cracked caulking, and jets that were badly discolored—so we had to set up the electronics on the desk for the single night we stayed.

The hotel itself was clean and well‑located, but we had to leave early because my mother needed emergency surgery at home and the hotel wouldn’t let us cancel or refund, which felt very inappropriate given our situation.
