The place was clean and the breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly. After booking, I was told I’d have to pick up the key at Hotel Dom Fish nearby because the lodge has no reception. The mini‑fridge was empty, so we had to walk to the hotel around 23:00 to buy water. It was cold and there was only a thin double blanket. I’d recommend checking the availability of extra blankets at no extra cost.

They transferred us to the hotel, which was a relief given the bad weather and our child. The team was the real highlight – everyone was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was very varied, delicious, and clearly made with care. The bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were good, and the room had air‑conditioning, a TV, and a mini‑fridge that we didn’t use. I had read some reviews beforehand and was a bit worried about booking, but the folks need to match expectations with the price. We had an excellent stay and I’m glad I booked. The shower had a problem, but it was fixed quickly. The shower enclosure needs a little love; the doors don’t close properly and it leaks into the bathroom.

Breakfast was great, a short walk to a court. The cleaning and internet were solid. The shower was hot with plenty of water, and the AC worked well. Good value in low season. The pillows were thin, the TV had few channels, there were only a few sockets and the ones that exist have bad contacts. The room was closed and smelled odd when I entered, but it improved once I opened the windows.

Loved everything about this place – it’s just a stone’s throw from the beach, surrounded by plenty of eateries and souvenir shops. The rooms were spotless and the whole operation felt really well‑run, and the front desk staff were genuinely friendly. Oh, and the little turtle that greets you at the entrance was a cute bonus. I’ll definitely be back.
