I felt completely at ease; the inn is in a true getaway village, giving the sense of a break from the hectic everyday life. The family running the inn is very warm, there is always someone to talk to, and the food is first‑class.

The spot is incredibly peaceful, and you have to drive from Hinterhornbach to Vorderhornbach to reach the Lechtal, where a free bus runs everywhere with a Lechtal card. Hinterhornbach also offers beautiful hikes. The Gasthaus Adler was fully modernised ten years ago and looks so tidy and spotless you’d forget it’s a decade old. In my view it’s a hidden gem, run by a friendly family that serves an excellent regional cuisine of high quality. I especially noticed how clean the rooms were and that they always smelled fresh.

“Geweldig verblijf, fantastische vakantie!”

Wonderful location. Breakfast and dinner were very well prepared and super tasty! The reception was very warm, the owners friendly and caring. The rooms were very tidy and had everything needed. I would definitely come back. Nothing to note, everything was top.
