Breakfast offered many options, and the baguettes were warm and fresh. My husband enjoyed his fresh coffee, and we appreciated the juice selection. I had to leave the hotel to get to my car and couldn’t easily find an unlocked door; I eventually found one that stayed unlocked until I returned.

The hotel is well‑located, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is varied and of very good quality. I recommend it. No complaints about the hotel itself, but it should be noted that during this period (autumn) the establishment is closed on Wednesday afternoons from 15:00 until the next morning. This was not reflected on the booking site, and the day before we received a phone call from the manager asking us to arrive before 15:00. Luckily, our timing was right and we arrived on schedule to take possession of the room. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed that evening, but we found what we needed in the village. All parking in Beynac is paid, and it would be desirable for guests staying overnight and the next morning to receive a free parking ticket, as the hotel does not have a private parking lot.

“Hotel propre, bien situé, avec du potentiel.”

The hotel is very well situated on the banks of the Dordogne in Beynac. The upstairs room offers a view of the inner courtyard. The room and bathroom were refurbished, and the bedding is comfortable. Areas for improvement: breakfast. The bread and pastries are of very average quality. The dairy is not refrigerated, the presentation of fruit juices needs review, and an espresso coffee should be offered.
