The place sits just 5‑10 minutes from the town’s food spots and the beach, and the staff were friendly. The room fits one person perfectly; two might feel a little cramped, but for the price it’s definitely adequate. The bathroom is small and the shower area is tight, so you’ll have to plan your moves—walking back in the dark isn’t a problem if you keep your phone flashlight on, and overall I felt safe.

Clean, budget‑friendly lodging that’s well kept. The shower area is tiny and the shower head sits over the toilet, which can be a bit inconvenient.

There’s no breakfast offered. The guest house is within walking distance of the beach where sardines and turtles are plentiful. Security is solid, with a steel sliding gate and a young man usually nearby. Stone‑filled walkways lead to the rooms, making it hard to move suitcases and you’ll need shoes. I’m not a fan of the coin‑sized soaps and minuscule shampoo packets that are almost impossible to open without scissors. The room lacks a table for unpacking, and there are no glasses or cups; a hot‑and‑cold water dispenser sits outside the office with cups. The room itself was very clean.

The staff are very friendly, the beds are comfortable and clean, and the Wi‑Fi works well. There’s a cold water fountain, and they provide soap and shampoo; the sheets and towels are good. I had to kill three cockroaches and place a towel under the door at night to keep them out. The shower doesn’t exist—basically a leak from the bathtub. If you drive a motorcycle, the road is full of stones all the way to the accommodation.

The guest house’s location is ideal for me because it’s off the main center, so it’s quiet and free of tricycle noise. The mattress and pillows are nice, ensuring a good, relaxing night. The entire property is well maintained and surrounded by beautiful bougainvillea. Water is available at reception, and the internet is very good. I highly recommend this guest house if you plan to visit or stay in Moalboal. The bathroom faucet gives a gentle spray, so it takes a bit of time to get a full shower, and I wish they added an extra pillow for each person—my friend and I only had one each. These are minor issues that didn’t affect my overall stay.
