I already know the hotel and it is very good. During my stay, only one elevator was working while the other two were out of service for modernization, which caused a huge inconvenience.

We were scheduled to check in at 14:00 but didn't get into our room until 18:00. They said they were short-staffed and couldn't free up rooms, and the cleaning was rushed—blankets weren’t even changed and the room had a strong odor. The check‑in was delayed, and the hotel is in a neighborhood with many homeless people; we were constantly warned to keep our belongings safe because of frequent thefts in front of the hotel. The valet even jumped in front of a guest to prevent a theft from happening right in front of us.

The location and service were good. I know they’re improving the elevators, but I still had to go up and down the stairs on 11 floors because the elevators were impractical and too crowded. Motorbike couriers next door also caused a lot of noise; we had a nasty fight right when we arrived and were stuck in the middle of the brawl. The rest was excellent.

The beds were comfortable. The bathroom taps are weak, but that’s not a severe defect.

The experience was very unpleasant. From the moment we arrived, the air‑conditioning in the triple apartment didn’t work properly, and after we requested technical assistance it remained unresolved. Because no other room was available, we had to stay in those conditions. They later improvised by installing another unit inside the room without cleaning the space. Additionally, a group of teenagers on the same floor made a lot of noise at night. We called reception several times, but the issue was never fixed, and they kept calling our room repeatedly. That night we could barely sleep. The shower in the first room also had temperature fluctuations and struggled to heat properly. The hotel’s old structure gave off a stale smell, worsening the negative experience. Only on the last night did we get a room change, but the new room was smaller and the move happened too late to compensate for earlier troubles. We had booked that weekend to enjoy São Paulo and relax, but it turned out the opposite. The only bright spot was the courteous staff who were friendly and attentive within their limits. However, the maintenance, cleaning, comfort, and lack of solutions from management ruined our stay. It’s not something we’d want to repeat, and I don’t recommend it for those seeking comfort and rest.
