“Avola”
The breakfast and dinner were very good, and the service staff were very friendly and warm. However, the bathroom and room feel outdated, and the cleaning crew should put more effort into their daily work.

The accommodation is beautifully situated among lemon and olive groves. The pool is great, breakfast is tasty, and the on‑site restaurant is good. It’s a wonderful place to unwind at this agriturismo and a solid base for Noto and Avola. The rooms are somewhat basic.

The property itself is beautiful, with well‑maintained outdoor paths, gardens, trees, and a peaceful setting. The restaurant and breakfast area look nice, especially at night when lights and jazz create a warm vibe. The outdoor environment is undoubtedly the property’s biggest strength. Unfortunately, the main problem was the lack of care, hospitality, and attention to detail throughout our stay. The accommodation quality did not match the property’s beauty or the price. Our room was poorly maintained, with outdated furniture, an old noisy air‑conditioning unit, and very few amenities. There was only one plastic bottle of soap shared between the sink and shower, while the towels were extremely worn, some with holes. Cleanliness was below expectations, with visible dust and hair in bathroom corners. More importantly, the staff seemed consistently busy and detached, and we never felt genuinely welcomed or cared for. For an agriturismo, we expected much more warmth, personal attention, and genuine hospitality. Breakfast reflected the same lack of care. The food quality was disappointing, and despite arriving early, basic items were repeatedly left empty. On all four mornings we had to interrupt busy staff to ask for coffee, yogurt, or juice to be replenished, which became frustrating over the stay. Finally, we encountered a concerning incident with a neighbour’s horse. The animal approached our car aggressively, caused damage, then followed us inside the property, running around for a couple of hours in panic, creating a dangerous situation for both the animal and guests and damaging the gardens. We understand the horse was not theirs and they were not directly responsible, but as this happened on their property while we were guests, we expected at least some assistance or concern. We sent videos documenting the damage and situation, but received no response or contact details for the horse owner, which we requested, leaving us to handle the car damage ourselves.
