“Mold problem 😔”
The staff who checked me in were awesome. The private room was super cute and exactly as it looked in the pictures, with a comfortable mattress and clean bedding. However, the place was absolutely riddled with mold—worst on the shower curtain and when the AC unit was turned on. I had to keep the window open and still got sick. People in a shared room tried to perfume the mold smell, which triggered an allergic reaction when I arrived. There is no elevator, so it’s not an accessible building. The location isn’t accurate on maps; it’s in a more residential area where people aren’t eager to help even when you’re on the same block (it’s beside a barber, not beside a closed school). I would not call this direct access to the airport, as it’s over a 20‑minute walk away. The place is very dark, so beware of the flood‑prevention steps at all underpasses—major tripping hazard with concrete steps. Filth drips down from the loft bed to the couch area. The couch is too small to sit on, let alone relax after a long flight. This hostel has no kitchen amenities, no laundry, it’s just a room to sleep, but I’m glad I only stayed one night.
