I asked the staff to reserve a booking like this platform in Pakistan, and when I called the given number, he demanded 5500 rupees while my bill was 3947 with tax. He didn't give me a room in the same guest house; instead, he assigned me a room at some other capital lodge, which had a very bad location, and he finally charged 4500 rupees. There was nothing to like about it.

My stay at Grand Residency Guest House was truly excellent. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me warmly and remained courteous, professional, and helpful throughout. The check‑in was smooth and efficient, making the whole experience very comfortable from the start. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well‑maintained. The bed was comfortable, and all necessary amenities were available. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything neat and tidy. The property itself is peaceful, secure, and offers a relaxing atmosphere for both families and business travelers.

The location was good. I booked this room for a family of six adults—two parents and four children—and included free breakfast. When we arrived, the rooms looked different from the pictures. They advertised two beds and two futons, but the futons were missing. It took some convincing to get the single person on duty to bring us mattresses, which he eventually did. In the morning, there was no breakfast; the staff said they were on leave because of the holiday. We had to buy our own groceries. When we asked about salt, pepper, or any spices, the attendant said there were none. When we wanted to refill our water bottles, he discouraged us from using the water dispenser. We found spices and cooking utensils in the cupboard and saw about four additional dispenser bottles in the kitchen. The attendant’s lackluster enthusiasm and discouraging remarks made us feel unwelcome and regretful about choosing this location. After the trip, he called us to ask for a review, which is what I'm writing now.
