The place was clean and we received free drinks, but the area was okay while the back alley looked sketchy, and we were directed to the wrong hotel because there’s another one down the street.

The hotel sits in the university district, and the free bikes get you to the city center quickly while parking at the hotel is hassle‑free; the rooms are spacious and clean, the pineapple branding and free water bottles were appreciated, afternoon cookies are available and water and coffee can be grabbed anytime, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The only downside is the lack of breakfast, though a supermarket, many cafés, the U-Bahn to the city center, and numerous dining options nearby make it only half as bad.

Staff was very friendly, the location near U Washington was great and the coffee maker in my room did a pour-over vs. the usual drab Nespresso. Very cheerful experience!
