The front desk guy who checked me in was friendly and efficient, no issues there. The woman I talked to on the second day about extending my stay for a few hours was extremely rude and unhelpful, even though I’m a police officer and offered to pay for the extra time; it basically ruined my visit. I try to understand staff, having run vacation rentals myself, but this experience was so stressful that I’m rating the hotel poorly. I’m also worried they don’t run the AC during the day, which is a problem in hot LA summers and could cause mold.

The accommodation and breakfast were good. The hotel is a bit off the main area if you’re not driving to bars and restaurants, but it’s easy to reach with an Uber.
