The room was tiny but cute and the price was hard to beat, plus the automatic check‑in worked like a charm and the bathroom had a modern look. Unfortunately there was no hot water at all and the Wi‑Fi never came up, and I spent ages trying to reach anyone on the phone only to be bounced between chat‑bots. When a staff member finally called back, they said the Wi‑Fi would be fixed the next afternoon, but they seemed to doubt my claim about the cold water and kept asking me to double‑check it.

“Terrible experience, I will never stay here again”

The place sits in a great spot and the hostel’s interior looks surprisingly upscale, which was nice at that price. However, there was zero hot water for the entire three days and the staff did nothing when I raised the issue. It turned into a pretty terrible experience and I won’t be coming back.

“If the warm water issue is solved, I would recommend the place”

The facilities were solid – clean, comfy rooms and a convenient location, and checking in and out was a breeze. The big downside was that there was absolutely no warm water, which meant I couldn’t shower before an important interview the next morning. I’d seen other guests mention this problem, hoped it was fixed, but it clearly wasn’t, and it ruined an otherwise decent stay.

“Hier kann man unterkommen, wenn man eine günstige Wohnung sucht, aber die hygienischen Verhältnisse sind furchtbar”

The room itself was spacious, had a fan and a fully opening window, which was a plus. The bathroom, however, reeked of urine and sulphur, the drain was slow and the tiles were green‑stained, and the hallway AC didn’t work at all. I also left the dishwasher running hoping staff would empty it, but nobody bothered, and the floor stayed dirty enough that a towel turned black the moment I stepped on it.

“Perfekt für meinen kurzen Aufenthalt in Wien”

The place was clean enough and had the basics covered, which was fine for a short stay. The only real issue was that the window wouldn’t close completely, letting in drafts and noise. Otherwise, nothing major to complain about.
